Go Green,do good

Apparently the rise of Eco Tourism may be endangering the very thing it seeks to save.
Reports are rife that some wildlife and environments are being damaged or eroded in places such as Antarctica, Uganda and Botswana.

If all things Green and beautiful are close to your heart, it may be better to “keep it at home”? By installing Solar panels for your home you can do your best for the world and keep your electricity bills way down. Sunlight is free to everyone, so once you have the Solar panels installed your electricity costs will be very manageable and reduced. There’s also a scheme by which the Government may even pay YOU money! It’s called a “Feed in Tariff” and is a way by which you can sell back the excess electricity you have created, once you have used all you need.

In this day and age, everyone wants to improve their “Carbon Footprint” which is a measure of the impact we have on our environment, connected to the amount of greenhouse gases we burn. Eco tourism should always improve or conserve our world, not destroy it, so if you are venturing away from home and wish to keep your holiday “green”, be sure to do a little probing. An example might be a walk through the Rainforest. How can it be part of an “Eco-tourist” trip if it doesn’t raise awareness of the local people and help them with their intrinsic problems? It’s not enough to just walk around and enjoy nature; your trip must be low on fossil fuel burning and do some good.
